2013 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 1.5L
Black cherry, cranberry, cola and pomegranate aromas. Long and full on the palate with bright plum and rhubarb notes and a refreshingly zesty finish.
We took our years of Pinot Noir experience and went westward to the Sonoma Coast. Like our Carneros Pinot Noir, we have made our Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir exclusivley from fruit that is sourced for our single-vineyard wines. These vineyards highlight Pinot Noir at its best from the Sonoma Coast AVA: showcasing cooler sites with lower yields, resulting in amazing concentration and vibrancy.

Clones: 52% Pommard, 19% Dijon 928, 16% Dijon 115, 7% Calera, 6% Dijon 23

After night harvesting, the fruit arrives before sunrise at Saintsbury. Each block remains separate and receives gentle handling starting at the sorting table through to the open top fermenters for 5-day cold soak for a total of 13 days cuvaison.
Aging: 10 months in 20% new, 30% 1-year old, and 50% neitral French oak barrels
